I've "wanted" to be a lot of things in my life and in the end I realised it was just me wanting to be something I'm not to avoid who I really am. In reality all I can be/control is myself. In my imagination I can see myself doing anything, but I know for a fact that I can't. I'm just me. I was right there the whole fucking time and was too chicken shit to be me so it led to so many disasters. I agree with you when everything goes horrid, you know who your real friends are and what you really care about!
You know what you want to be, what you wish you were, what you can do and what you're not....it's all in your head. We're all our own internal crossword puzzle.

We ALL can! Don't beat yourself up about it too much. The fact you realise such things is a strength within yourself!

 

Until I was 22 I thought a "booster shot" was always in your butt, because a booster seat was what they would give me as a kid to sit high enough to reach the table at the restaurant.

I once built a Bird House for a school exam project... I built it late won the last day before it was due and didn't have the materials I needed. I had no idea they would use it and mine had huge nails poking through to the inside. Many birds died before the school noticed.

 

I really don't do well with authority and that gets me into a lot of trouble

 

When I was 4 I hit my brother over the head with a spade. Twice. It's funny but I do regret it

In contrast to what most people think of me, I actually hate doing tech work and IT stuff

 

But I still have a long way to go

 

My wife makes me more like the person I've been aspiring to be and I'm the happiest now that I've ever been

 

When I was a kid I used to astral project every night. I've spent years since trying to do it again but never been successful

 

I died when I was 5 of a punctured lung and pneumonia. Every day I learn from that experience, and not often enough I think about the kid in the room next to me who didn't make it.

 

There have been times in my earlier life where I've surprised myself at just how cruel I could be.

 

I never got on with the alternative media and spiritual discussion etc I find all of the crazy talk too crazy. There's nothing more irritating to me than spiritual waffle

 

I often push my own self expectations on others then get confused when it doesn't work

 

I have a tendency to miss the point

 

I prefer to be lonely than be in a group of people, I suck in social situations

 

I often get too stuck in focusing on smaller issues and drama rather than focusing on the bigger picture

 

I'm not the person that was needed to do what was needed to be done in the 18. Again I tried hard to be but it eventually caught up with me.

 

Where to start...
I'm not as confident as people think I am and I'm not the person I aspire to be by a long shot. I try, but usually get in my own way or trip myself up somehow
