President Trump has sent 12 warships, including the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln, to the Persian Gulf region, forcing Iran to the negotiating table. Trump wants to persuade the Iranian mullah leadership to stop killing their protesting citizens. It has been estimated that as many as 40,000 protestors were killed throughout Iran. The militant theocratic leaders are determined to hold onto power. Meanwhile, the stock market as been flying up and down under the threat of war and the thwarting of war.

We would like to see Iran and its citizens freed, but not by means of American boots on the mountainous ground of Iran. We realize Trump is using the leverage to protect Iranians as well as force Iran’s leadership to end their nuclear weapons development as well as cease their funding of terrorists groups that attack Israel.

We know tyrants are only checked by military force. The mullahs will play a cat and mosque game, but Trump plays 4D chess and is already forcing a checkmate.
