I have been focused on Tech and am uninspired in ways atm.

Could someone think of something to fill in these blanks on the Radio Page?

Radio Update:

Several test broadcasts have taken place this week.

Stream sound quality sounds good through all of my equipment.

I am looking for volunteers to test the "mobile" studio in hopes that:

1) DJ's may broadcast radio programs from their locations

2) "Man on the Street" reports, interviews, entertainment may be broadcast via mobile phones.

George successfully broadcasted (a few words) thru the studio with his mobile phone app.

Unfortunately, my settings were in process of set up at that time so the test was brief.

Yaksuit participated in a test. We experienced buzz and garble at that time.

Monkeyman participated in a test from his location. Transmission was very clear.

I hope fine tuning of settings will work out sound issues.

If anyone would like to go in the studio to work on their settings, let me know.

With the completely free station version.

There are spam ads now without purchase of add-ons...

Both dedicated radio machines booted up and connected to the station well on the first try

Some type of talk show would be a fun thing.

Maybe in the fall/winter?

True... but I was thinking about some excerpts from the middle where you discuss the object on the moon and such

I could put together some test podcasts with excerpts from the Atticus and Dale discuss the 18 with Bill conversation if you would like me to.

I think you mentioned doing that at one time and mixing excerpts in with tunes for a program.

Some interesting topics were discussed in that audio.

 

looool, well, I just reopened this thread to mention large mp3' will work uploaded as podcasts now if that option is of interest to anyone.

The previous streaming station has fallen into disarray since March.

The subscription for anything but the free part was cancelled and those laptops have been stored away.

I could put it all back together, but you wouldn't want a show live stream anyway, would you?

An audio Translater Podcast would be great!!!!

it is the programming and dj's/hosts that are missing.
thats a big gap, or lots of smaller ones...program's say 45 mins.
cannot commit myself to being leashed to radio every 45 minutes.
not adequately time oriented... would be a dismal failure

Regarding current state of InPHInet Radio.

So far...

what we have here is a free station with only a one tiny upgrade...
to eliminate a slew of spam ads that normally would cover the entire page
a certain quantity of text with unalterable font, color, placement are mandatory
inconveniences included as incentive to upgrade to premium package

Current station can be embedded, look "slick", include user friendly control panel, bells, whistles, etc
for fee based upon number of listeners when warranted by programming progress if need be.

initial impetus for the creation of all this site
stemmed purely from desire for a new amusing puzzle
after tearing apart and restoring 20 laptops for fun & adventure

But, there are more things in heaven and earth...


All comments and suggestions regarding the radio station from anyone are welcome.

Yesterday, I placed all necessary programs on a fresh laptop dedicated for radio purposes only and automated virtual cables to load at startup.

My challenge now is finding a quiet area for tests during this season.

Progress has been made...
everything is now back in place
for a streaming station
if the need arises.

Athough not completely tested
it appears to be functional again.

Limitations exist with the free station format
such as the annoying necessity
of the inclusion of
a bunch of spam mandatory text
(much more than shown here)

 

I am also planning a radio program
